Man Injured at Brigade Sports Complex

A member of the public was injured on the ice at the rink on the Naval station near the Naval Academy Golf Course.
A man suffered a head injury Wednesday at the Brigade Sports Complex at the Naval Support Activity Annapolis off Greenbury Point Road.
Judy Campbell, a spokeswoman for the Naval Academy, said a member of the public was injured on the ice rink. No other information on the patient was available.
Tony Spencer, spokesman for the Annapolis Fire Department, said the Naval Academy Fire Department called his department to assist at the sports complex near the Naval Academy Golf Course at about 5:10 p.m. Wednesday. Spencer said the man suffered a head injury.
The man was flown by helicopter to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
No further information was available on his injury or his condition.
