Road Rage Between Boyfriend And Girlfriend Led to I-393 Crash
Incident began on Main Street in Concord on Thursday. Infant among passengers.
A crash that snarled traffic on Interstate 393 during rush hour
Thursday was the result of road rage between a boyfriend and a
girlfriend, State Police said.
At 3:26 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a report of a motor vehicle rollover with ejection on I-393 east in Pembroke. The initial investigation revealed the accident was the result of a road rage incident between a boyfriend and girlfriend driving different vehicles that reportedly began on Main Street in Concord, according to a press release issued by State Police.
Police said Travis Vachon, 24, of Concord, was driving a 1995 Nissan Maxima when he threw something at a 2000 Toyota Echo driven by his girlfriend, Bianca Roy, 17, of Concord, cracking her windshield. Vachon then sped off.
Witnesses told police both vehicles entered onto I-393 east from North Main Street in Concord at a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of traffic. After passing Exit 3, Roy attempted to pass Vachon on a curve and lost control, causing her vehicle to strike a guardrail and roll over several times, hitting Vachon's car as it rolled.
Roy and a male passenger in her vehicle, who were not seatbelted, were ejected from the vehicle. They were taken to Concord Hospital for treatment with minor injuries, according to police. Neither Vachon nor the woman and infant passengers in his car were injured.
Police said charges may be filed against both drivers, pending the outcome of the investigation. Those charges could include reckless operation and a request for administrative action with the Department of Motor Vehicles, according to the press release.
The crash closed the eastbound lanes of I-393 for about an hour and a half, with traffic diverted onto Route 106. Concord Police, Chichester Police, Pembroke Fire, the state Fire Marshal's Office, and DOT assisted at the scene.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call Trooper Kevin Leblanc at 603-223-4381.

Nothing was thrown at her windshield so get your
facts right before you "report" on anything. Bianca also totaled her
truck only a few months prior also rolling that over. She also was in an
accident prior to that one. Seems to me that BIANCA can't drive without
crashing.
Fact: Travis has a few traffic violations and
other resolved charges so he is not completely innocent as you seem to
want people to believe,,,,,, agree facts will come out and hopefully
charges will be filed against both ... Also how can he have a wife and a
gf? The newspapers say Bianca is his gf but you posted comments in
other forums that he was in the car with his wife? Sounds like a
Stand up guy ?

All these "witnesses" saw stuff happening but no
one called the cops or nothing until the accident happened. People
should get all the facts and not just one side of the story and no one
could report of no injuries to the other ppl since only 2 ppl were
looked at at the accident no one bothered to look at the baby who is
only 6 months old and had been covered in glass he also had glass in his
clothes. Nothing was thrown at anyones windows and all these articles
say she is the one who sped up to him knowing there was a curve in the
road and that it all became on lane. So ppl should get there facts
before saying stuff.
