Rotherham teenager seriously injured in A6021 crash
A Rotherham
teenager has suffered life-threatening injuries when the car he was
travelling in left the road and crashed into a telegraph pole.
The 18 year old was a passenger in a blue Audi A3 which was
driving on the A6021 Wickersley Road, Rotherham, at about 23:30 BST on
Good Friday.He suffered head, spine and lung injuries in the accident and is being treated at Rotherham General Hospital.
The driver of the car and another passenger received minor head injuries.
Police believe the accident happened after the driver, a 19-year-old man from the Broom area of Rotherham, lost control of the car on a right-hand bend near the junction with Bentfield Avenue.
