Morgan Berryhill, 19, of Box Springs, was pronounced dead at the scene about 20 minutes after the 6:03 p.m. accident, said Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Charles Newton. Morgan's body was sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab in Atlanta today for an autopsy.
A male teenager in Morgan's vehicle was transported to The Medical Center for treatment.
In the other vehicle, a woman and three children were all transported to the hospital for serious injuries. The two youngest children were later transported by LifeFlight to Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta.
It was unknown whether the victim was wearing a seat belt, Newton said.
