Guess this dude never learned how to bottle-up his frustrations.
Deputies arrested Douglas Edward Hasselman after they say he hit a woman driver in the head several times with a bottle of TrueMoo chocolate milk — along with his fist — during a road rage incident in Punta Gorda, according to a news release from the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office.
The 54-year-old woman told deputies that when she accidentally bumped a Chevrolet Malibu at a nearby intersection and pulled over, a man came out of his car and began screaming and cursing at her.
He then reached into car and grabbed her 16-ounce bottle of cow juice and repeatedly hit her over the head and mouth area, the report states.
When she leaned over onto the seat to avoid the punches, Hasselman reportedly leaned inside her car and continued to hit her with the bottle and his fist before driving away, the report states.
An EMS Paramedic that was treating the woman before the deputy arrived reported that Hasselman allegedly came back and pulled up behind her ambulance, where he got out and began to scream and curse the woman again, according to the report.
The Paramedic told Hasselman to get back to his vehicle until deputies arrive; he complied.
A check of both vehicles showed neither suffered any damage.
Hasselman denied hitting the woman with a bottle and told a deputy that the woman was lying.
The deputy then asked him how he knew she was hit with a bottle. Hasselman declined to answer any further questions and was hauled off to jail.
