LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Cleveland man has been arrested and four people were injured after what police say was a drunk driving accident early Sunday morning.
According to an arrest report, 30-year-old Todd Keown was driving a blue Ford Explorer on westbound on Frankfort Avenue, when he crossed the center lane and hit another vehicle head-on.
Police say four people were in the other vehicle and were injured in the crash.
When police stopped Keown they allegedly noticed "several open containers of alcoholic beverages" inside his vehicle, and "a strong odor of alcoholic beverage" on Keown.
He allegedly refused to voluntarily give police a blood sample, so police had to obtain a search warrant for it.
Keown was arrested and charged with four counts of first-degree assault, four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The condition of the four victims is not known at this time.
