TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a pair of brothers in Tuscaloosa on federal charges related to a string of convenience store armed robberies.
The Tuscaloosa News reports (http://bit.ly/IUNPw3 ) that 20-year-old Kesharn Battle and 18-year-old Trevon Battle were indicted last week and were arrested Monday at their home.
Authorities say his brother joined him for 1 of those robberies in Moundville.
Authorities said other people were involved in more than 1 of the robberies, but no additional arrests or indictments were announced.
Detention hearings for both men are scheduled Thursday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul W. Greene.
