Norris Galatas has been through a number of surgeries and now has a service dog to help him. But the dog, Willie, has had his own health challenges. Willie has shoulder problems. He recently had an MRI at Mississippi State University in Starkville.
Norris' wife, Janis, has been fundraising to help pay off the MRI bill.
"I never know when the time will come when as a service dog that's for balance and walking, I might have one of my balance issues and need to hold on to him and keep from falling," Norris Galatas says.
Newscenter 11 will have more with Norris and Willie Sunday night at 10:00.
For information about making a donation, contact the Tractor Supply store on Highway 19 North in Lauderdale County.
